Because NOBODY reads this blog!
And I've been in Los Angeles. But mostly because nobody reads this blog. I discovered this when I got Google Analytics. I think I'm seriously the only one who checks it ... and even I'm not a very regular reader. So, I think I'm going to go back to Facebook as my main clearinghouse for my self-created, user-generated crud.

- My real interest is radio. And roads. I started avidly reading radio trade magazines in 1999. I've since watched music radio implode, and I'm afraid it may never come back. I believe news radio has a better long-term future, and that got me interested in journalism in general. On the flip side, I like driving fast on the freeway. That's evolved into a fascination in highway and city planning, it's effect on zoning. I love the west. I like Utah, but it's too cold in the winter and I want to move. I like Portland, Oregon but it's too cloudy and the speed limits are too slow. I love Southern California, but I don't think I could afford to live there. I'll probably try to, anyway.

Was this just a plea to get people to fess up that they read your blog?
You're welcome to go back to Facebook, but I'm only 20% likely to read things there (as opposed to being 100% likely of reading them here). Just saying.
