Banter

Ah, broadcast banter. The pseudo-idle, stiff, rigid chat between two anchors on television.

At the station I work at, the management is lifting the ban on banter, and is now encouraging the jocks to talk with us news guys. Immediately my workplace satisfaction has jumped 26%.

Today I had my first go at trying to ad-lib with Mark Wait. He didn't give me any heads up as to what the topic would be, but I felt I held my own fairly well. So, here you go, for anyone interested:
